first introduced archetypes as important insights into human behavior.
Archetypes convey an energy, a thoughtform that describes an aspect
of our psyche. There are four archetypal energies that everyone functions
through these are our inner family archetypes, because they are best
described through the concepts of Father, Mother, Boychild and Girlchild.
Each archetype has a loving and an unloving side. When our archetypes
are loving, we outpicture our highest soul potential. When they are
unloving, we experience rebellion, fragmentation, pain and isolation.
We express our archetypes through our conscious, subconscious, unconscious
or superconscious mind. The specific pattern we print from birth influences
how we think and feel, what we aspire to and what we reject.
When our Father archetype is
loving, we experience a sense of protection, direction, discipline
and conditional love. When our Father archetypes is unloving, we experience
the energy of the tyrant, the critic, and the controller.
When our Boychild archetype is
loving, we experience a sense of courage, adventure,
heroism, enterprise, loyalty, honor and patriotism. When our Boychild
archetype is unloving, we experience the energy of the bully and the
rebel.
When our Mother archetype is
loving, we experience a sense of nurturing, guiding,
teaching, explaining and unconditional love. When our Mother archetype
is unloving, we experience the energy that is abandoning, spoiling
or aloof.
When our Girlchild archetype is loving, we experience a sense of
caring, finesse, beauty, intuition and mysticism, a spehrical consciousness.
When our Girlchild archetype is unloving, we experience the energy
of the victim, martyr, and soap-opera queen.
